26 Jan Downtown’s Container Park gets a new wedding chapel: Travel Weekly
With a 35-foot-tall, fire-spewing mantis sculpture guarding its entrance and a treehouse-inspired playground in its central courtyard, the Downtown Container Park on Fremont Street is a clear example of the new downtown Las Vegas. Funded by Downtown Project, the Tony Hsieh-backed investment group dedicated to neighborhood development, the Container Park is a shopping center and entertainment destination, its repurposed shipping containers and cube-like boutiques housing cocktail bars, gourmet popsicle shops and quirky toy stores.
