Oasis at Gold Spike Opens in Las Vegas
October 22, 2014
Oasis at Gold Spike, the first hotel venue by the Downtown Project, has opened in Downtown Las Vegas. Oasis marks the neighborhood’s newest boutique hotel.
Oasis’ 38 rooms and six suites pair with a reception area complete with lounge, working space, and a library housing a collection of titles that celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of Downtown Las Vegas.
The hotel’s classic neon sign represents the glamour of vintage Vegas, and the property also highlights the creativity of the emerging arts scene through its collaboration with local artist Jerry Misko. Originally built in 1962, the refurbished Oasis’ original charm is enhanced by its modern luxuries, custom art installations, and a playful environment.
Oasis at Gold Spike is owned and operated by the Downtown Project, which purchased and began renovating the three-story hotel in 2013.
