The Downtown Container Park is a hip open-air shopping center and entertainment venue built mostly out of recycled shipping containers, right down to a massive kids play area. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop, and movies and concerts take place in more typical times — though all entertainment is on hold while coronavirus continues unchecked. Look for the giant metal praying mantis sculpture (where in safer times there are drum circles and fire shows) and you’ll know you’re in the right place.
