21 Dec Neon vs. nature: It’s easy to have both on a trip to Las Vegas
While not on The Strip, there is still plenty of neon to check out in the East Fremont St. district. The area is home to the Fremont Street Experience, but also plenty of restaurants (like Park on Fremont, which has a see-saw you can play on and great deep-friend pickles), bars and beautifully painted murals. Neon signs from older hotels that have been torn down or renovated are on display in the middle of the road.
